This role includes housekeeping duties throughout the facility as well as laundry services including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and delivering linens and personal clothing. This is an important role that directly impacts resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life. Duties & ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping Duties Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces Empty trash and replace liners Follow infection control and safety procedures Maintain cleaning carts and supplies Respond promptly to spills and cleaning requests Help create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors Laundry Duties Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and resident clothing Label and properly distribute resident laundry Operate commercial laundry equipment safely Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas Monitor linen inventory and report shortages Ensure timely turnaround of laundry services What We're Looking For Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Positive attitude and team-first mentality Ability to work independently and stay motivated Compassion and respect for elderly residents Attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Healthcare experience is helpful but not required — we are willing to train the right person.
