Essential Job Function Essential Job Function Perform general cleaning and housekeeping tasks in order to ensure buildings, rooms, and restrooms are clean, sanitary, and free of debris and dust. Essential Job Function Use hand tools such as brooms, mops, squeegees, buffers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners to ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture. Must be able to operate power equipment on floor surfaces if required. Essential Job Function Replace light bulbs in light fixtures as needed and replenish restroom supplies. Essential Job Function Wash windows and/or doors, pick up and dispose properly of trash and litter in and around the buildings and grounds. Essential Job Function Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and tools, and report need for additional supplies and tools. Use supplies and tools correctly. Essential Job Function Set up and move furniture and equipment as requested. Assist BSA Set-up Tech with set-ups for special programs and activities as needed. Essential Job Function Clean areas assigned after set-ups for special events are completed. Essential Job Function Distribute and inventory building services supplies from central storage. Essential Job Function Support building security by checking for unlocked doors, windows, and unauthorized personnel. Essential Job Function Shovel snow from entrances, steps, porches, and handicapped ramps. Essential Job Function Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
