Job Description

Job Summary:
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for all guests. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including: Making beds and changing linens Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms (toilets, sinks, tubs/showers, mirrors) Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces Vacuuming carpets and/or mopping floors Emptying trash cans and replacing liners Replenish room supplies such as towels, toiletries, tissues, coffee, and water. Check and report any room damages, maintenance issues, or missing items. Restock housekeeping cart with clean linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies. Respect guest privacy and follow proper procedures for rooms with "Do Not Disturb" signs. Follow hotel safety, security, and sanitation guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Able to lift, push, and pull up to 30-50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced hotel environment focused on guest rooms. Frequent use of cleaning products and equipment. Physical work including bending, lifting, and repetitive motion.
