The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces. This role is crucial for ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents alike. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, ensuring high standards of hygiene and sanitation. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Launder linens, towels, and other items as required to maintain cleanliness and freshness. Cook simple meals when necessary, adhering to dietary guidelines and preferences. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition. Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, waxing, and polishing as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks. Skills Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Familiarity with hotel or residential cleaning standards is a plus.
