Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall hotel operations. Conduct routine floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve the appearance of all flooring types. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to guarantee guest comfort and operational readiness. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards. Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards will be advantageous. Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques across various surfaces and materials. Knowledge of floor care procedures including industrial cleaning methods such as buffing and waxing. Experience with janitorial or custodial work in commercial or industrial settings is beneficial. Strong understanding of hospitality operations with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards throughout shifts.
