Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential areas, or commercial spaces including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring surfaces. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed diligently to promote health and safety for guests and staff alike. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude. Assist with janitorial tasks including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies to keep facilities spotless at all times. Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to ensure smooth operations. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles with knowledge of residential or commercial cleaning techniques. Strong understanding of sanitation standards and floor care procedures including carpet cleaning and floor waxing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely. Familiarity with laundry processes and janitorial supplies is preferred. Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is highly desirable for understanding guest expectations. Basic knowledge of cooking is a plus for supporting additional hospitality needs when required.
