Position Overview:
We are seeking meticulous and dedicated Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team at [Hotel Name] in [City, State]. Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests. The ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning:
Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards and procedures, including making beds, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets. Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, such as toiletries, towels, and linens. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, debris, and stains.
Public Area Cleaning:
Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, including corridors, lobbies, and elevators. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness and orderliness. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
Guest Interaction:
Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor and respond to any requests or inquiries promptly and courteously. Report any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper for resolution. Ensure guest privacy and security by following established procedures for entering and servicing guest rooms.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, notifying the Housekeeping Supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with fellow Room Attendants and other members of the Housekeeping team to ensure effcient and thorough cleaning of all guest rooms and public areas. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and share relevant information.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
