Evening Shift (United States of America) Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our senior living community. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and team members. This role plays an important part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by ensuring that apartments and common areas are consistently clean and welcoming. Responsibilities Housekeeper Wage:
$17.50/hr Part-time position available 3-7pm shifts available Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required Location:
Lexington Square Lombard Essential Responsibilities Clean resident apartments, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, dining rooms, activity spaces, and offices. Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces according to community standards. Complete laundry service needs Empty trash and replace liners in resident and common areas. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials. Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and supply needs to supervisors. Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, families, and coworkers. Assist with special cleaning projects and community events as needed. Maintain confidentiality and resident privacy at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping, janitorial, hotel, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, walking, and reaching throughout the shift. Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service to seniors.
