Laundry / Cleaning Aide

Jennifer's Garden is a family-owned business in Morris, and we take a lot of pride in keeping our building, linens, and work spaces clean, organized, and ready for guests and events. We are currently looking for a part-time laundry and cleaning person to join our team. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with hands-on work. This role is important to helping our venue, kitchen, and event spaces stay clean, polished, and well maintained behind the scenes.

What this role includes:

Washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and related items Spot checking linens for stains, damage, or items needing extra attention General cleaning of work areas, restrooms, common areas, and event-related spaces Sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping down surfaces, and trash removal Helping keep storage and supply areas neat and organized Noticing and communicating any supply shortages or cleaning/laundry issues Assisting with light setup support or related cleaning tasks as needed What we're looking for: Previous laundry, housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred Someone dependable, efficient, and able to work independently Good attention to detail and pride in a job well done Ability to lift, bend, stand, and stay active throughout the shift Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required Weekend availability is a plus, especially during busy event season

Schedule:

Part-time position Flexible daytime and/or early evening hours Approximately 15-25 hours per week , depending on business needs Some weekend work may be needed

Pay:

$16.00-$20.00 per hour Pay will depend on experience, reliability, and ability to work independently
