FLOOR TECH / HOUSEKEEPER OAK PARK OASIS
Part-Time PM (1pm-9pm) and Full-Time POC (11pm-7am)
Position Summary :
The Floor Technician performs routine floor care, including, but not limited to scrubbing, refinishing and buffing of floor surfaces. After initial training on the job, the employee is responsible for following standard procedures in maintaining an assigned area. Duties are performed under direct supervision and subject to inspection by the Director of Environmental Services. This is an overnight position. Responsibilities/Accountabilities Maintains all floors, i.e., stripping, refinishing and daily maintenance of various floor types and surfaces Empties trash as specified in workflow Insures that all entrance ways are clean and that they are maintained Follows cleaning procedures in a safe manner Maintains equipment in good working condition and returns it to the proper storage location after use Specific Educational Vocational Requirements High school degree or equivalent is preferred Must be able to read, write and understand English Job Skills Good physical condition in order to operate floor equipment Working knowledge of standard materials, techniques and equipment used in housekeeping activities Ability to follow oral and written instructions Ability to positively interact with personnel, customers, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan
