The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized. Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and polishing as required. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices for cleanliness and efficiency. Assist in training new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred; hotel experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in custodial work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial management is advantageous but not required.
