Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be the backbone of maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Your proactive approach to cleaning and general upkeep will ensure that our property remains spotless, organized, and inviting at all times. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard hospitality experience while developing your skills in custodial and housekeeping management. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet care to ensure a spotless appearance Assist with hotel-specific tasks such as linen handling, replenishing supplies, and setting up event spaces Conduct routine janitorial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface cleaning with attention to detail Support hospitality operations by ensuring all areas are well-organized and presentable for guests and staff Use industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively to handle larger-scale cleaning projects when needed Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services—hotel experience is highly desirable Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles Ability to operate industrial cleaning machinery safely and efficiently Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Join us in creating a welcoming environment where cleanliness meets excellence!
