Housekeeping

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Shelbyville Healthcare & Senior Living. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces while providing excellent customer service, creating a welcoming environment for clients and guests. Duties Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail. Manage housekeeping responsibilities to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed, adhering to established protocols and guidelines. Conduct floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning, to maintain a clean and safe environment. Provide responsive and friendly customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients and guests. Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals and equipment, prioritizing safety and minimizing risks. Skills Experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus, with excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods, with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices. Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is helpful but not required, with a strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
