Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces. Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Empty trash and replace liners in resident rooms and common areas. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly. Maintain cleanliness of public restrooms and employee areas. Follow infection control and sanitation procedures at all times. Laundry Responsibilities Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and facility laundry as assigned. Ensure resident clothing and linens are handled with care and returned promptly. Report damaged linens or clothing to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas. Resident Services Treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Respond courteously to resident requests and report concerns to nursing or management staff. Respect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times. Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. Safety and Compliance Follow all facility policies, OSHA guidelines, and safety procedures. Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer instructions. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or unusual observations immediately. Participate in required training and staff meetings. Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information. Teamwork Work cooperatively with all departments to ensure a positive resident experience. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while on duty.
