No prior cleaning, housekeeping, or household management experience is required. We assume applicants may have little or no professional work experience and will provide complete training. This position is designed for a mature high school senior, college student, or gap-year student who wants real responsibility, practical work experience, and steady employment. We are primarily looking for someone who is reliable, takes initiative, and has a positive attitude. Think of this position as helping a household stay consistently clean, organized, and functional rather than performing occasional heavy cleaning projects. This is intended to be a one-year position. Responsibilities Maintain a clean and orderly home throughout the day Reset rooms to their proper condition before leaving Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas Vacuum, sweep, and dust as needed Wash, fold, and put away laundry Change bed linens when scheduled Empty trash and recycling Organize household items and storage spaces Maintain cat litter boxes and pet areas Keep countertops, sinks, and common areas clean and presentable What You'll Learn This position is intended to teach practical life and workplace skills that many young adults never have the opportunity to develop. Employment Information This is a legal household employee position. The successful applicant will be paid through payroll with all required tax and employment documentation completed. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be able to complete employment eligibility and tax forms upon hiring.
