If you live in Crown Point, Valparaiso, Lowell, Merrillville, Elkhart, Southbend, or the surrounding areas in Northwest Indiana, we have homes for you to service! In this contractor role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential and commercial spaces. Your expertise will ensure that environments are safe, hygienic, and welcoming for residents, guests, and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your cleaning skills while contributing to a positive and healthy atmosphere. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces according to the service list outlined for each property. Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as tidying homes, laundry, changing linens, putting away groceries and loading and unloading diswashers (as requested) Maintain sanitation standards by properly disposing of waste and disinfecting high-touch areas regularly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs courteously and professionally during cleaning appointments. Follow established protocols for janitorial and custodial tasks to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Ability to perform sanitation tasks effectively while adhering to health guidelines. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members. Experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles is a plus. Familiarity with laundry processes and equipment operation for efficient service delivery. Strong work ethic with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
