Housekeeping

Overview We are a brand new Best Western coming into our busy season and seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our hotel, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail. Duties Perform cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as required, following established protocols. Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and well-maintained. Conduct floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with housekeeping management tasks as needed to enhance operational efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner. Qualifications Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, especially in hotel settings. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness in all cleaning tasks. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties throughout the day, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
