We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicatedHousekeeper (Environmental Support Assistant) to help maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Position Summary:
The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring that our facility remains clean, orderly, and safe. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and other parts of the facility in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, and offices. Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish furniture and fixtures as needed. Remove trash and replace liners. Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Report any maintenance concerns or safety hazards to the supervisor. Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment. Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times. Maintain resident confidentiality and treat all residents with dignity and respect. Assist with laundry services as needed. Respond promptly and courteously to resident or staff requests.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (especially in a healthcare or senior living environment) is a plus. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and respectful attitude toward seniors.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and work on feet for extended periods.
Schedule:
