Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in residential or commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and well-maintained. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Sanitate bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Launder linens and towels as needed, ensuring they are clean and presentable. Conduct floor care activities such as carpet cleaning and hard surface maintenance. Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all occupants. Assist with light cooking or meal preparation when required. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
