Room Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role is crucial in upholding our high standards of hospitality and cleanliness, contributing to an exceptional experience for all. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-maintained. Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as required. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies in accordance with established protocols. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, ensuring all linens and uniforms are cleaned and organized. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously. Requirements Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial practices is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
