General Manager Position Summary:

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shawnee is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas while ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room supplies. Vacuum, dust, mop, and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms. Clean hallways, elevators, lobby areas, and other public spaces as assigned. Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management. Properly handle lost and found items. Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner. Follow hotel safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals. Respond professionally to guest requests and provide excellent customer service. Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within required timeframes. Assist team members and support hotel operations as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional. Weekend and holiday availability required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25-35 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
