In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment by performing cleaning duties with precision and care. Your proactive approach will contribute to the health and well-being of staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene Lift heavy objects such as trash bins or cleaning equipment safely through proper manual handling techniques Maintain cleanliness of equipment and storage areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to support facility maintenance Requirements Janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or institutional setting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled shifts Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the day Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
