Hotel Housekeeper

Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high standards of hygiene. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and common spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels in accordance with hotel protocols. Restock amenities like toiletries, beverages, and other guest supplies to enhance the guest experience. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure quick resolution and safety compliance. Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold cleanliness standards across the property. Skills Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to perform thorough sanitation tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout shifts. Prior experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities.
