Housekeeper

Seaside Health System is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will take pride in cleanliness, infection prevention, and supporting a positive patient experience within a behavioral health setting. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize patient rooms, nursing stations, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times Remove trash, biohazard materials, and soiled linens appropriately Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned areas daily Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with patients and staff Support a calm, respectful, and therapeutic environment Follow all hospital policies, OSHA guidelines, and sanitation standards Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred Healthcare or behavioral health experience is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and reliability Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Schedule Full-Time and PRN opportunities available Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be required Benefits (Full-Time) Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement plan options Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement
