Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established standards to ensure a pristine environment. Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort. Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Follow proper janitorial procedures during industrial cleaning tasks for larger spaces or specialized cleaning projects. Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other public spaces to uphold the hotel's image. Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for all staff and guests. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on hotel housekeeping or janitorial services. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemical safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance issues promptly. Previous experience in housekeeping management or overseeing custodial teams is a plus.
