Housekeeper Comfort Suites Sulpur-Lake Charles Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning services, with a strong focus on providing a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role is essential in ensuring our guests or residents experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Prior hotel and hospitality cleaning experience is highly valued. The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties, including floor care and general housekeeping tasks, to uphold the cleanliness standards of our organization. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, or designated spaces according to established standards Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces Restock supplies and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and report any maintenance issues Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment Ensure all areas are sanitized and disinfected regularly, especially high-touch surfaces Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required in hospitality Qualifications Knowledge of floor care techniques and use of cleaning equipment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently Physical ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus but is not required We are willing to train any motivated candidate This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean and welcoming environment while developing your skills within the hotel and hospitality industry.
