ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant General Manager and the Hotel General Manager, Room Attendants role is to consistently deliver a comfortable and inviting guest experience through thorough maintenance of guest rooms and public space with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
Essential Duties:
Ability to use cleaning solutions as may be necessary, to push a vacuum, mop, or broom. The ability to see, stand, walk, sit, push a cart, bend, kneel, reach including overhead and from bending or down low, to carry, and to lift up to 50 lbs.
Specific Requirements of this role:
Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms. Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries. Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets) as required. Effectively communicate issues to Executive Housekeeper and Assistant General Manager with regards to room maintenance, service requests, special guest requests. Deposit linens into appropriate areas. Turn mattress, as may be directed by supervisors or management. Stock supplies, inventory supplies and maintain a well-stocked and tidy cart. Assist with the unloading of supply deliveries and proper stocking or storage of items. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Hotel level cleaning experience is a plus.
