Job Description
Houseperson | Saphire Event Group Join our team and help create unforgettable experiences! As a Houseperson at our premier event venue, you will play a vital role in ensuring every guest walks into a clean, polished, and welcoming environment. You'll be an important part of the behind-the-scenes team that helps bring exceptional events to life. From weddings and celebrations to corporate gatherings and special occasions. Reporting to the Venue Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the venue. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to hospitality will help create the exceptional guest experience our clients expect. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and wants to contribute to memorable events. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all venue spaces, including guest areas, restrooms, and service areas Perform routine cleaning tasks, including floor care, trash removal, and general upkeep Assist with event setup, breakdown, and maintaining the venue's appearance throughout events Ensure all spaces are guest-ready and meet the company's high standards of presentation Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and operations teams to support successful events Respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced event environment with a positive attitude Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality roles preferred Knowledge of professional cleaning practices, floor care, and facility maintenance Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused atmosphere Reliable, organized, and committed to providing excellent service Previous hotel, resort, or event venue experience is a plus Job Type Full-time Benefits Flexible schedule Paid time off Health Benefits 401k Matching Schedule 8-hour shifts Morning shifts
