Assists guests by providing friendly, courteous and professional service. This role is scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Thrusday, with the potential to add a fourth day during busier weeks. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining linen/soft goods by working industrial washers and dryers in the laundry department Cleans all equipment, carts, tables, and floors Inspects linens for wear or stains during folding Separates soiled linen away from clean linen Uses proper wash procedures according to the type of linen Conducts monthly linen inventory Cleans lint traps and sweeps laundry rooms Accountable for guest satisfaction as it pertains to laundry service at the property Assists and responds to guest and coworker requests in a positive and timely manner while providing the highest level of quality service Works as a team player and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments as necessary Ensures a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state and federal regulations Reports all maintenance needs and service issues Knowledgeable on the safe use of chemicals utilized within the housekeeping department.
Rate :
15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Housekeeping/laundry experience preferred Attention to detail, customer focused and the ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast-paced environment Maintains predictable and reliable attendance Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty/responsibility and meet all criteria under physical demands, with or without accommodation.
