About the
Role:
The Bellman/Houseperson plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. This position is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, and providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions. Additionally, the Bellman/Houseperson supports the housekeeping and maintenance teams by maintaining cleanliness and order in public areas and assisting with room readiness. The role requires a proactive approach to guest service, anticipating needs and responding promptly to requests to enhance overall guest satisfaction. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the hotel's reputation by delivering courteous, efficient, and professional service at all times.Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage and equipment safely. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hotel or resort environment. Knowledge of local area attractions and transportation options. Basic understanding of safety and security procedures in hospitality settings. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Certification in hospitality or customer service training programs.Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, assisting with luggage handling and transportation to guest rooms. Provide guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and local points of interest. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance areas, and other public spaces. Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linens, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms as needed. Coordinate with the front desk and other departments to ensure smooth communication and guest service. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve minor issues or escalate as appropriate. Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces or meeting rooms when required. Ensure all equipment and carts are maintained in good working order and stored properly.Skills:

Physical stamina and coordination are essential for handling luggage and maintaining public areas efficiently.
