In this vital role, you will support the housekeeping department by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with floor care, and ensuring all public and guest areas are spotless and inviting. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences and uphold our high standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties Assist with daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting public areas, hallways, and service spaces to ensure a hygienic environment. Support the housekeeping team with floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, buffing floors, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions for different surfaces. Handle custodial responsibilities by replenishing supplies in guest rooms, restocking amenities, and maintaining storage closets organized. Perform routine inspections of common areas to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and report them promptly. Support with moving furniture or equipment during deep cleaning or room turnover processes to facilitate efficient cleaning operations. Follow safety protocols related to industrial cleaning equipment and hazardous materials to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to uphold hospitality standards, ensuring all guest-facing areas are welcoming, clean, and well-maintained. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, and polishing is advantageous. Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments demonstrates strong custodial skills. Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service expectations enhances your ability to support the team effectively. Previous housekeeper management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within housekeeping operations. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently is essential. A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail ensures consistent delivery of high-quality cleanliness standards.
