Job Summary This role plays an important part in ensuring guests are given an exceptional experience during their stay. The Evening Housekeepers mainly focuses on sanitizing and cleaning guests' rooms during the evening hours between 5-9pm. In addition, they are expected to greet each guest with a professional, but warm demeanor and always find an answer to each question. You will also be expected to respond to questions and follow through on specific guest requests until the highest level of satisfaction is achieved.
Schedule:
Thursday, Friday & Saturday 3pm to 9pm
Pay Rate:
$17.00 to 20.00 per hour Responsibilities Place chocolates where the guest will see it upon entering the room. Close both the sheer and opaque curtains. Remake the beds and fixing pillows to make them neat. Remove and replace all dirty towels and trash. Fold the toilet paper and tissues into triangles, replace if low on stock. Adjust lighting, leaving only select lighting on like nightlights and nightstand lights. Restock the housekeeping carts and closets. Remove and bring down all trash and dirty linen from the carts/closets. Check in with the front desk and let them know that you are finished. Let them know all the rooms that had their DND signs up and if there is anything else they need. Assist in laundry by washing, drying, sorting, and folding if needed. Conduct rose petal turndowns if applicable. Participate in any other job-related duties assigned by the Housekeeping Management. Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements Requires the ability to learn job duties during a short period of training and follow directions efficiently. Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred. Must be in good health and able to stand, walk, and lift-up to 40lbs for extended periods of time. A neat appearance, a customer service mindset, and an attention to detail is necessary. The ability to work alone or among team members when needed is required.
