Hourly (rate discussed during interview, based on experience) About Us Capers Cleaning is a growing cleaning service based in the DMV, providing high-quality residential cleaning, Airbnb and short-term rental turnovers, and move-in/move-out cleans. We pride ourselves on attention to detail, reliability, and creating spaces our clients love coming home to. About the Role We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our team as 1099 independent contractors. You will be responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning across a variety of properties, including private homes and short-term rentals. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for experienced cleaners who take pride in their work and want to grow with a new, dynamic company. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas Complete short-term rental (Airbnb/VRBO) turnovers within scheduled time windows, including linen changes and restocking Conduct move-in and move-out deep cleans Follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure consistent quality across every job Communicate promptly with the Capers Cleaning team regarding scheduling, supply needs, and property concerns Document completed work with photos as required, when necessary Treat every client's home and property with care, respect, and professionalism Qualifications Prior cleaning experience preferred (residential, hospitality, or commercial) Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work Reliable transportation to travel between job sites across the DMV Smartphone for scheduling, communication, and job documentation Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods Excellent time management and punctuality Professional, friendly demeanor with clients Must be authorized to work in the United States Background check may be required What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Steady stream of jobs with a growing local company Supportive, professional team environment Opportunity to grow with the business How to Apply Submit your application through Indeed or email us directly at with a brief note about your cleaning experience and availability.
