Hiring Professional Residential House Cleaners - Part-Time-Flexible work schedule! ​Spare Hands Cleaning, LLC - California, MD. ​About the

​Spare Hands Cleaning, LLC is an established residential and commercial housekeeping service that has been proudly serving Southern Maryland since 2000. We provide high-quality cleaning services across St. Mary's, lower-to-mid Calvert, and Southern Charles counties. Schedule & Compensation:
Guaranteed Base Pay:
$16.50 per hour (W-2 position). ​
Tips & Extras:
Keep 100% of your tips. Between base pay, tips, and paid travel time pay, cleaners can earn a potential total compensation estimated at $16.50-$19.50 per hour.
Please note:
Customer tips vary, so while total compensation can fluctuate, you are always guaranteed your base rate of $16.50 per hour. Flexible work schedule! ​Work Hours are typically Monday-Friday, 8:00/8:30 AM - 3:00/4:30 PM. No evenings, weekends, or major holidays. This job position will start off with part time day hours M-F, with the opportunity to turn into a full work schedule as more new customers sign on for service. ​
Benefits & Incentives:
​Monday-Friday work schedule. No evening or weekend work days, unless available and requested by the employee.
Weekly Pay:
Direct deposit every Friday. ​
Paid Training:
Experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate. ​Paid Time Off (PTO): Available for full-time employees (vacation, sick time, holidays, and personal days). Paid Travel Time in between jobs. Paid travel time replaces mileage, and exceeds standard IRS reimbursement.

Supplies Provided:
All uniforms, professional equipment, cleaning products, and cleaning supplies are provided by Spare Hands Cleaning, LLC. ​
Employee Recognition:

Independence & Health Safety:
Spare Hands Cleaning, LLC is not a team cleaning service. We utilize an individual service model to minimize germ exposure and cross-contamination. By eliminating shared travel and team-based environments, we ensure a healthier, safer experience for both our customers and our employees, while prioritizing a drama free, peaceful workspace.
Job Requirements:
Physical Job Requirements:
Must be able to perform labor-intensive tasks daily, including standing, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing up and downs stairs, and lifting lightweight equipment up to approximately 10+ 1bs. ​
Reliability:
Must have a valid Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and your own dependable vehicle to get you to and from each job. Employees cannot rely on others or rely on local transits to get them back and forth to work.
Dependability:
Must have strong work ethics! Our customers depend on us to provide them with a dependable cleaner, so we depend on you to provide that to them. Little to no call outs! We understand that sometimes life happens to where call outs may be necessary, but excessive call outs are not acceptable. ​
Environment:
Must be comfortable working around family pets and dust. ​
