Job Description
Must pass a criminal background check Must possess a valid state or federally issued ID Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Excellent working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents. Attention to detail Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods
Responsibilities :
- Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival
- Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
- Perform laundry duties as necessary
- Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
- Ensure a high level of customer service is always performed
- Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
- Report any damages or repairs needed to management
- Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service. Understand the company's policy on work shifts, guest's possessions, and privacy issues
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing, and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out
- Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service
- Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
- Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
- Responds timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
- Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
- Reports necessary maintenance items.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
