Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeping Worker and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless, sanitized, and well-organized to meet the highest standards of cleanliness. Duties Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of guest rooms, patient areas, or facility spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure operational readiness Follow established protocols for environmental services and infection control to uphold health standards Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly Use OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to maintain overall facility hygiene Requirements Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning or healthcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use Experience with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and carpet extraction Strong attention to detail with a commitment to sanitation and environmental services standards Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Join us in creating a clean and safe environment where everyone feels comfortable!
