Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential or hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing. Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' needs promptly and professionally. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed meticulously to promote health and safety standards. Handle janitorial tasks such as restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleaning equipment in optimal condition. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling and coordinating cleaning activities across multiple areas. Experience Candidates should bring prior experience in custodial or janitorial roles, ideally within residential settings or hospitality environments such as hotels. Experience with commercial cleaning techniques and floor care is highly valued. Familiarity with laundry operations and carpet cleaning methods will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Previous housekeeping management experience is a plus for those interested in supervisory responsibilities. Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude are essential for success in this energetic position. Certification or training in sanitation practices or hotel housekeeping standards is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is key.
