Housekeeping Houseman

Our hotel is extremely busy, and we need a detail-oriented individual who is willing to perform a wide range of tasks to ensure that our guests have an exceptional experience. Responsibilities include keeping the hotel's public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. You will also support housekeeping by delivering items requested by guests, such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, and bedding to guest rooms, and completing any special projects assigned by housekeeping managers. Compensation:

$15 hourly

Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness of the guest rooms and hallways, as well as the lobby and other workspaces Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors' requests Walk all assigned floors at beginning of the shift and collect trash, soiled linen, and other items per management requests Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens Transport clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms and replenish linen supplies on each floor

Qualifications:

Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills At least 1 year of experience as a houseperson or housekeeper preferred Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification (GED) About Company The newly renovated Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel sits in the heart of Towson's bustling business district, offering unmatched convenience to nearby corporate offices, universities, medical centers, and popular destinations such as Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
