Description Job Summary:
The housekeeping Room Attendant is a professional that ensures a positive overall impression of the property as well as providing the necessary service of ensuring clean and comfortable rooms for our guests. The impression created by the Housekeeping Room Attendant is crucial to the reputation and success of the hotel.
Some Areas of Responsibility:
Sweep, scrub, mop floors throughout the property Vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies Remove stains from rugs and upholstery if needed Dust and polish furniture and fittings Remove trash in a sanitary manner Clean trash container and ensure they are in functional order Clean wash basins, mirrors, toilets, tubs and showers Change bed linen and make beds per our property standard Neatly stock linen and supply closest on guest room floors Wipe down glass surfaces Replenish bath care products (e.g., soap and shampoo) Tidy/organize rooms and porch areas; including but not limited to cleaning cobwebs, sweeping decks, wiping any outside guest furniture, picking up trash laying on the ground Assist with laundry as needed. Complies with all hotel policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, pleasant, and professional image to guests and associates. Keep golf carts in tidy and in professional appearance during the day; empty trash and linen often. Follows established safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment and sharps policies. Reports any broken items such as beds, chairs, and fixtures to management. Report any suspicious activity or unusual items in cottages to hotel leadership.
