Housekeeper (32 Hours/Week) Dionne Commons Assisted Living Position Summary Dionne Commons is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. This position is scheduled for 32 hours per week and is responsible for cleaning resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces while adhering to infection control and safety standards. Schedule Part-Time (32 hours per week) Weekend and holiday availability may be required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage Attendance Bonus Program Shift Differentials (where applicable) Holiday Pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, dining rooms, offices, and other facility spaces. Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish floors and surfaces. Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, and furniture. Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables. Replenish paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies as needed. Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and resident issues to appropriate staff. Assist with laundry duties as needed. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order. Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, families, visitors, and coworkers. Support the facility's mission of providing a clean, safe, and comfortable home-like environment for residents. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or assisted living experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must be able to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and handle cleaning products. Why Join Dionne Commons?
