Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary The award-winning Comfort Inn in Ellsworth is seeking energetic, detail-oriented team members for our housekeeping department. Year-round starting wage is $17.00/hour, and all year-round positions are eligible for a bonus of $2 per hour worked for the summer season. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards. Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, including floors, furniture, and fixtures. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management. Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members. Experience Previous experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices or custodial services is a plus. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
