In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment that reflects excellence in hospitality. Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, adhering to established cleanliness standards. Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall floor hygiene across all hotel spaces. Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and convenience. Handle janitorial tasks including waste removal, surface disinfection, and detailed cleaning of furniture and fixtures. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to uphold the hotel's welcoming environment. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly. Assist with special cleaning projects involving industrial cleaning equipment or deep-cleaning tasks as needed. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; experience in hospitality environments is a strong advantage. Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, floor care, and janitorial practices are essential for success in this role. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or specialized cleaning processes is beneficial. Background in custodial management or housekeeping supervision can be an asset for leadership opportunities. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning standards within hospitality settings is important.
