Per Diem Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented per diem Housekeeper to join our team at an 82-bed elderly care facility. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Dust, vacuum, mop, and perform routine floor care Properly handle and dispose of waste and linens Follow infection control and safety guidelines Replenish supplies as needed Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in an elderly care setting Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light to moderate loads
