Housekeeper

Atlantic Ocean Suites is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team in Old Orchard Beach. We are an all-suites motel offering spacious one- and two-bedroom accommodations, and cleanliness is a top priority for our guests. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning experience, take pride in their work, and be committed to maintaining high standards throughout the property. This position is essential to ensuring each suite is thoroughly cleaned, well-stocked, and guest-ready at all times. Hours will vary based on occupancy, averaging approximately 15-30 hours per week.

Part-time (approximately 15-30 hours per week) Must be willing to work weekends Includes weekends and holidays as needed Flexible scheduling based on occupancy and season

General Duties & Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize one- and two-bedroom guest suites, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas Make beds and change linens between guest stays Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Clean and disinfect bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors) Clean kitchen areas including countertops, appliances, sinks, and cabinets Replenish guest supplies such as towels, toiletries, and paper products Remove trash and replace liners Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly Assist with laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner Follow all property cleanliness standards and safety guidelines Provide friendly and courteous interactions with guests when needed

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Ability to lift up to 15-30 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing stairs Positive attitude and strong work ethic If you are hardworking, dependable, and take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, we encourage you to apply.
