Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience at our establishment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments. Handle dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care and returned promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry materials, reporting any shortages to management. Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Assist in the upkeep of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hotel operations is a plus, particularly in understanding the importance of guest satisfaction. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
