Housekeeping on call! We are looking for housekeepers that want to make extra cash and be on call for departure cleanings here at Sonesta. We have a huge weekly demand and could use some extra help and looking for a few dependable people who want to be on call. Would call the day prior or day of, for any call-offs. Shifts and Schedule:

As a Housekeeping supervisor/inspector you will supervise Room Attendants and inspect hotel guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. The Housekeeping supervisor will provide daily issues to the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for inspecting rooms and implementing cleaning procedures along with protocols to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure all expectations are met.
Job Responsibilities:
Assign work to Room Attendants and train personnel in housekeeping duties. Assist with cleaning duties, room audits, and ensure all public areas are maintained Post room occupancy records. Supervise and direct the housekeeping staff to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of the hotel's guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained. Adjust guests' complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment. Write requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements. Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear. Check and count linens and supplies. Aid in budget control through supervision of employees' use of linen, supplies, and equipment. Record inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies. Communicate with other hotel departments regarding problems which need their attention. Ensure key control policies. Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills:
Familiarity with regulations of the material safety data sheets when using chemicals. Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy. Understand simple instructions. Learn simple procedures and techniques Perform routine work or the same task over and over again Plan the work of others, train, provide leadership and meet expectations

Must clean to a perfectionist level of clean, attention to detail a must Team player but works effectively by self Ability to exceed expectations of guests Must have a dependable, reliable vehicle Might help in other areas such as preparation of breakfast, cleanup, etc. Must live within 30 minutes of property Management retains the right to add or to change the duties of the position at any time. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and applicable background checks related to the position.
