Housekeeper/Laundry

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and well-kept for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, and a background in hospitality or housekeeping management. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a clean and inviting environment. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Maintain floor care through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed. Conduct thorough inspections of rooms and public spaces to identify areas needing attention or repairs. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to fulfill special requests from guests or management. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Requirements Previous experience in custodial work or industrial cleaning is preferred. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform duties that may include lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
