About Spillway Lodges Located in the heart of northern Michigan's scenic landscape, Spillway Lodges is a new and growing resort that offers guests an exceptional retreat experience in beautiful Bellaire. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding hospitality while showcasing the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the region. Postion Overview Seasonal role running through the summer season Primary shifts: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Shift start: 9:30 AM (end time varies with daily occupancy) Additional shifts available during peak periods
Location:
247 Portage Drive, Bellaire, MI (on-site role) Key Responsibilities Your primary focus is making sure every guest arrives to a spotless, well-stocked, and beautifully presented space.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Clean and turn over guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to resort standards Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and in-room amenities Clean kitchen appliances, dishes, cookware, and surfaces Ensure all units are fully staged and guest-ready before arrivals Maintain common areas, stairways, corridors, and shared guest spaces Transport and pull housekeeping wagons between our six lodge buildings Report maintenance concerns, damages, or lost-and-found items promptly Coordinate with Guest Services on special requests, late checkouts, or early arrivals Restock cleaning supplies and notify management of low inventory Desired Qualifications Dependable and shows up when scheduled — that's our top priority Detail-oriented with a genuine care for cleanliness and presentation Able to work independently and manage your time well on busy turnover days Comfortable working as part of a small, collaborative team Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful — but we will happily train the right person What We Offer Flexible scheduling with the ability to pick up additional shifts A supportive, team-oriented boutique hospitality environment Thorough training on property standards, procedures, and expectations Opportunity to be part of a growing Northern Michigan resort property
