Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while performing a variety of cleaning tasks. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas in accordance with established standards. Manage laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens. Ensure proper care of cleaning equipment and supplies; report any maintenance issues as needed. Assist with floor care techniques such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as required. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Provide exceptional hospitality service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries. Experience Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred but not required. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within hospitality or hotel settings is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated time frames.
