Duties Maintain cleanliness of public spaces, hallways, lobbies, and guest corridors through thorough cleaning and sanitation practices Assist with floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe Restock supplies in common areas and assist with replenishing amenities in guest rooms as needed Support housekeeping staff by transporting linens, trash, and cleaning supplies efficiently throughout the property Perform routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation with attention to detail Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored according to safety standards Respond promptly to guest requests or maintenance needs in public areas to uphold service excellence Experience Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred Familiarity with cleaning techniques for various surfaces and floor care equipment Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service principles Experience with industrial or commercial cleaning environments is a plus Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings Basic understanding of janitorial safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals Housekeeping management experience is advantageous for those seeking growth opportunities within the role This position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to build a career in hospitality or custodial services.
